Dungeon Siege III a good replacement for Diablo II?

I've played Torchlight 1 and 2 with mods and enjoyed it fully. I finally decided to just install Diablo II with the Median XL mod again. Gawd that mod rocks. I'm looking at getting a widescreen mod to work with D2, but I hear it will only work with 1.12 patch and below. I really recommend D2 with the Median XL mod. It's pretty much a brand new game with that mod.

I tried Path of Exile but got tired of it. I may try to find Titan Quest now and try that out.

Path of Exile is the best Diablo style game I've played since D2.

Titan Quest is an honorary mention.

Haven't tried Grim Dawn. How complete is it and how much is likely to change? Is the beta open?
