Have you finished the MP game on all three difficulty levels (Regular, Veteran, Elite)? If not, man are you missing out!

And everyone needs to make a Chicken Run at least once before calling it quits...

It's a nice looking game, but I find it's way too easy. Everything is given to you. You know the hp of the monsters, get good weapons and spells everywhere, health and mana potions everywhere, your health builds back up very quickly and you just have to click on a monster once and it will fight for you til it's dead.

Heh I haven't finished it, but I'm wondering if it gets harder cause it's not now at this point.

Thanks for the info. Downloaded in 1 min 33 sec. (Damn, I like cable :D ) I have not had the chance to play as much as I want, but enjoy the game when I do.

DS is a good game, but I have one real issue with it -- healers and magic users don't advance at the same rate as melee fighters. What gives? If I have a character dedicated to healing the group, he'll be left way behind in terms of levels. It looks like there are tons of great high level spells, but I just couldn't seem to get any of my casters high enough. It's a catch 22, I guess. My healers can't get high enough in level because they can't do any damage, and they can't do any damage because they're not high enough in level.

I'm playing on the highest difficulty setting with two characters and six donkeys. :D

That Goblin robot slapped me around several times before I finally beat him. It started making me mad. If you are the Incredible Hulk, I highly recommend playing with only one character! ;)

Hehe Maybe I should crank up the difficulty. Actually I'm playing with 3 characters and 2 donkeys right now but it just seems like alot of hacking and picking up tons of items. I remember playing some good DnD games in the past and items were few and far between, but you could get a gem of an item every so often.

One annoying feature of the new patch is it apparently breaks your saved games from earlier versions. This is almost always the case in games though, so I wasn't surprised. It also brings back the annoying CD check before starting a game. Now I understand why the CD check is there in the first place but I play a lot of games (DS,UT,Q3,CS,NBA2K) and I HATE digging around for a CD for each game. I had expected this to happen too and only ran the update on my spare PC, not my main box, but I eagerly await a no CD "fix" for this new 1.1 version.

Yeah, all the item drops are kind of annoying. Sorting through all that crap for 6-7 characters takes a while sometime. I mostly use all the donkeys to carry my potions!

I guess I won't be installing the patch then. ;)

Can you at least pull characters out of old saved games to use them in multiplayer?
