I'm running Dungeon Seige with a T-bird @ 900Mhz and a Geforce2 GTS w/ 32MB of ram.
I've just installed and started playing, right away I notice a lot of flickering and definite image distortions. I've changed my resolution a bunch of times and I still get the same thing. Anyone else have this problem?

That is weird. I get no noticable lag on my Geforce 3 w/max video settings.

okay its back...

I get all these lines jumping out from the cursor, especially when I am in my inventory screen and I run the cursor over one of the items. I'm not talking about lag, but a screen flickering and little lines flashing about.

What OS? What Driver version?

I find the game unacceptably slow for a game of its type. If I turn on the fps count, before on a duron 900 with 768 meg of pc133 and a ti-500, I would get an average of 20 fps with a frequent drop below 20. On an XP 1800 with 512 mb of PC2700, I average 30 fps with still the occasional drop below 20 (rare though) and frequent drops below 30.

I think it's the software and the way it loads levels "dynamically". Having now seen it in action, I'd rather have faster gameplay and load times, assuming that's part of the problem.

I'm using XP with the latest detonator drivers.

It seems to work better without hardware TnL.

just go to planetdungeonsiege.com and read their massive forum complaints on the framerate problems. no point discussing it here.

Hmm... you guys must be spoiled with these new video cards because I find it runs fine with my TNT2 Ultra :p

Albeit, if I saw the game on a new card I probably wouldn't be able to go back...
