The sequel to a mediocre game at best isn't really worth signing up for fileplanet.

thanks for your opinion, but based on sales figures and general popularity of the original it seems the sequel is pretty much anticipated by many people.

Signing up for fileplanet has no negative affects. Its free, and if your semi-intelligent and have a "junk" email address to utilize it wont affect you on any level.

BTW, been playing it and it is pretty impressive. Very similar to the original, which is perfectly fine with me.

Inteviews in another thread mentioned making it "more interactive" by forcing you to keep clicking on enemies instead of attacks happening automatcially. Did they really make this (stupid IMHO) change?

Dungeon Siege was a great Action/RPG game for me, even better than Diablo II. I hope this one won't dissapoint me.
Thanks for the link :)

When does the beta end? When is the game released?

If I am to download 1.5GB, I want it to be exclusive for a while, and not have a demo released a week from now. :)

Why?
Only took me like 30 minutes to DL, probably less than that.

It's not exclusive, it's an open beta. Anyone can download it.

Yes, but it isn't as stupid in practice as it is on paper. You simply have to hold the right mouse button down to attack and then you can run the pointer over enemies as they appear. Release the mouse button and you stop attacking. Works very nicely.

Arrrrggghhhh not another game with the stupidly ridiculous point click interface.

I was really hoping that by this stage in the gaming industries development this would be doomed.

Point & Click = Automaticallly deleted from the wanted list

Well, some of the servers don't allow me to join because "Some of my files are different" or I have a different version or something. How do I update the BETA?
And it always disconnects after 5 minutes of either browsing servers or playing. Anyone having similar problems?

Oh by the way, from the 5 minutes of playing, I'd say the openning video was good, and the environment became much more interactive, and I like the ability to choose answers when talking to people (I don't remember if that was available in the first one). The graphics look like the first one with a bit higher textures and addition of shaders. It's essentially the same engine I assume.
