I'm playing a mage named Firewok on server 1, and i lol'd when i pick up my first suit of armor, "baby seal skin brigandine", and i'm using a HUGE two handed sword (cardboard cutout)

I thought it was worse than Mythos, which was only decent. Last I heard, non-subscribers only had access to the first 2 tiers of item quality, maybe this has changed.

I paid $5 for a month's membership a year or so ago. It was fun for that amount of time. Worth a try I'd say.

Don't even bother with the game unless you go the paid subscription route. Your character will be worthless because you can't use any decent weapons/armor on the free sub.

technically speaking, you get what you paid for ... (unless you're playing AoC...zing!)

ha ha, so far i'm still having fun at low levels. and free characters are gimped with limited access to higher tier items. (i might drop $20 for six month membership if i get any kind of enjoyment out of it) until warhammer/lich king
