Hi,

I recently bought Frank Herbert's Dune (TV Miniseries) (Director's Cut Special Edition) from amazon.

Since I have a TEAC DVL-800 multi-region DVD player, I had no problem reading it. The question I make is: shouldn't the DVDs have at least some english subtitles?

Anyone has this edition that can help me? I can't find that subtitle option ... maybe it doesn't have any ... ?!?!?

Thanks

Thanks for the checking ...

It's too bad it doesn't have any ... I would prefer to turn them on, since it would help me a bit further in fully understanding the dialogs ... english is not my native language.

Thank you.

Checked my copy too.
Subtitle options not there, not mentioned on the box either.
Like myself, I guess most people just assume that subtitles come standard now.

What? Is there a book? :D Why didn't anyone told me before? :D

I've already read it. Have the full collection, in english. But I think all DVD movies should at least have the original language subtitles ... what if a deft (sp?) person whant's to see the movie? He misses everything (or at least a big part of it, if he has read the book).

Awfull english of mine ... :Q

I think you mean deaf, otherwise your english isn't that bad (especially compared to some people on this board).
