WTF? I've only overdrawn my account ONCE in my life, and that's because i moved money from my checking account to my savings account and forgot my wife was going to take money out of my checking account and i FREAKED the hell out at the fees we incurred

The Hunters allegedly “overdrew their bank account more than 1,100 times in a seven-year period,” resulting in $37,761 in fees for overdrafts and non-sufficient funds.

That works out to significantly more than 150 overdrafts per year, 13 overdrafts per month and about three overdrafts per week, every single week, over seven years.

Party of fiscal responsibility, folks!

I think there's another thread about it already I believe. Ars had an article and pointed to $1500 in purchases on Steam. I think he blamed that on his son (who supposedly spent that on one fucking game somehow?).

The federal indictment implicates him in, at least, 5 affairs from what I've read.

Who wants to bet the wife takes a deal for reduced sentence and fingers him for everything?

So affairs and fingering. Interesting...

It's impressive at just how shitty of a human being this guy appears to be. Truly the best people.

Some sort of pathological behavior disorder at least.

The little bit over read has been beyond anything conceivably normal.

You would think so as far as fees - but I'm pretty sure after a while aren't they obligated to close their account? Did he actually PAY for all those fees?

Why would they be obligated?
You pay for an overdraft by putting more money into the account (which he apparently did). If your account goes -$100 and your overdraft fee is $25, then you sit at -$125. Deposit $150 and you're back up to $25.

That’s quite the feat considering there are about 2550 days over a 7 year period.

I also get it that he’s running a business in a sense but wow that’s a lot
Regarding the wife if it’s payroll stuff is she a certified accountant?

Sure they paid the fees. They just pulled it out of the campaign fund.

Duh face...
