I was more asking how is the handling and acceleration? I've always been curious about those RWD V8 Lexus coupes.

Well the handling is nothing like my S2000 lol but it has good acceleration for a 250HP V8. Its very responsive on the highway too

This SC400 has a new radiator, pads & rotors, timing belt & pullies, water pump, battery, thermostat, shader valves, supertine belt, valve cover gaskets, cam & crankshaft seals, plugs & wires, fuel filter and oil sending unit

Very nice, they're known to last 300,000 miles without problems. How much was it & mileage?

Sweet car. I rented an SC300 about 15 years ago from a friend of mine who worked for Enterprise and my wife and I drove it from Los Angeles to Palm Springs for the weekend. I absolutely loved that car. It had about 14k miles on it and it was smooth as silk, comfortable, fast, quiet in the cabin, decent sized boot, and it had a decent sound system. It was the perfect touring car.

Dude that is an INSANE ride. Not only because I'm a huge Lexus fan, but I've read that this cars motor is like super duper bulletproof. That V8 is a pure tank. I would buy this car off of you.

Yea I am too.....my grandpa has a 2000 LS400 with 204k miles on it and he drives it from VA to FL all the time without any problems. Its nice to drive on the highway without a hurricane sound in the car like my little S2000

alright, i gotta question this... i'm sorry...
first off, the Lexus looks to be in amazing condition and no question that it's a great car + should last forever.

but you just went from an I4 (~240hp) to a much heavier V8 (~250hp)... btw, what year s2000 and SC?

more importantly why'd go from a manual to an auto?
obviously it's your decision and that's fine, but what gives? was it mostly just a $ issue?

So many high-mileage SC300 and SC400's rollin on 22"s.

How has the interior held up - and I love the paint color!

1995 SC
2004 S2000

They didnt make manual SC400's

I have had 7 manual cars, this will be my first Auto

I went from a $540 car payment to $0 car payment :).......plus I have always liked these cars and just trying to simplify my life. Fast cars don't really matter to me anymore as well

Are the 4spd auto trans more reliable than the '98 - '00 5spd auto trans found on the SC400's?

Hows the back seat for adults and hows the trunk?

Looks like a comfy highway cruiser.

I have never heard anyone replacing the trans in a SC300/400 4 or 5 speed regardless of mileage or year. I know someone with 550k+ miles, original engine and trans.

Honestly, the interior size is about a big a a 2002-2006 Toyota Camry. This is not a small car by any stretch of the imagination( exterior wise it's a large car).
