dump question about partition

okay, this might be really dumb to some of you.. but i have 2 hard drives, i am trying to make 3 partitions on the first hard drive, right now i only have Drive C, which is the primary partition, now i need to create 2 more partition on the first hard drive, do i make both of them primary partition? or extented partition? or logical drive? i always get confuse when it comes to that..
 
You make an extended partition with 2 logicals inside of it IIRC. I haven't messed with it in a long time. Use PM6 and it will do it all for you.
