Why's it stupid? It's actually a good way to enforce the curfew laws.

Wouldn't a teenager who wanted to break curfew just remove the sticker? Or do parents have to sneak it onto the car somewhere?

Uh.. lol...

Like that is really going to work. Kids will just stick a piece of tape over the sticker for the night or something.

Besides.. I do believe, at least here in Oregon, if you are in a vehicle.. curfew does not apply.

Exactly. They want parents to voluntarily put a sticker on their child's car that will allow them (the parents) to be arrested? I don't know whether to laugh or cry, quite frankly.

Further attempt to remove parenting from the control of parents. Dumbest. Idea. EVER.

I agree, it sounds like a pretty good idea. However, it may be inconvenient for parents that are using the car that their kid normally drives....

Let's leave it up to the Police to parent our kids.

Whatever happened to taking the damned keys away?

really! all you have to do is piss off your kid who's been stopped twice and he/she goes out after curfew to get back at you by getting you arrested!

They'd be disowned and in a boarding school before they could stop laughing

Nah. The dumbest was the guy who completely Armor-Alled his riced up Civic tires and didn't know he would wipe out.

So far I haven't noticed any of the stickers yet. I'll keep an eye out, but I will be genuinely surprised if I ever see one.

Then again, if someone in this town was stupid enough to think of the idea...

Why don't the parents just look and see if the kid is at home or not if they don't want them to be out all night?

That's weird that the parents put the sticker there and they could end up arrested. It seems an ok idea to me to enforce them, but really curfews are kinda gay anyway. What is this WWII? Kids up past 10 "must be up to no good"? Just kinda silly.
