Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say a woman headed westbound near Gilcrease Museum Road hit 21-year-old Ray Tillman Junior. Tillman had just crossed the guardrail and ran in front of the woman's truck.

Story

survival of the fittest.... people with Junior in their name have smaller chance of surviving anyway...

I'm sorry, but you've gotta be pretty dense to run out infront of an automobile traveling on the highway...

Hey....I'm a Jr!!!!!!

I take offense to....hey....what's that? A car.........AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

A few months ago there was a story up here that some family tried to cross the 401, 12lanes, 16 near exits! It was a FOB husband and wife trying to push a stroller across. They were lost leaving the mall!

Unfortunately, this is a prevalent problem in San Diego near the border. If you cruise down 805 towards TJ, they have signs up on the freeway warning you to watch out for people crossing the road, with a graphic of a family running.

One person is killed when he's hit by a truck early Wednesday morning. This one happened on the Sand Springs Expressway.

Is it just me, or does it sound like the story was written by a middle school student..?

It is sad/stupid, though..

Probably written by an intern. That happens a lot in the summer months.

What's the last thing that goes through a dumbass' mind when he trots across a 6-lane highway on foot??

The windshield😛

sucks to be the driver. In Dallas a few weeks ago, some guy threw his wife/gf off of an over pass on the I-75 during rush hour. from where it was it is about a 75-80 foot drop to the freeway below, and the wife/gf landed on the hood of one car was thrown from it onto the road and run over by another car. The man jumped after that.

Interesting thought there. I personally know/knew 4 people the Junior in their name. 3 died before the age of 25 by duing stupid things (such as drinking and driving on icy roads). The 4th is still alive (my boss) but he has had many close calls (such as hitting a deer while going 70 mph on a motorcycle).

I wonder if there is a connection that people raised as a Junior might tend to live more outgoing and thus more dangerous lifestyles.

This almost happened to me yesterday as I was driving. The guy barely made it across before I noticed that someone was even in front of me on the 6 lane road. It was 10 PM and dumbass was crossing in the middle of the road, not near any stoplights.

Those signes are the coolest. I think they make the people graphic life-sized just so no one can steal them.

Do the people have big sombreros on them?
Oh wait, that would be racial profiling!

Some kid did that here around five years ago causing the driver to swerve out of control to avoid hitting him. Needless to say the innocent driver died as a result. You would think even a kid would have enough sense not to cross an Interstate but apparently not this one.
