Dumbass Reviewers !!

I am so sick of reviewers not even taking the time to check their facts. For instance, I clicked on Anand's link to the amdmb website and their review of the Iwill kk266. Guess what, they incorrectly listed the voltage ranges (i.e. they listed 1.1-1.85 when it is really 1.5-1.85) and incorrectly listed the voltage increments (0.25 when it is really 0.025). I emailed the reviewer about these errors but how many more are there. How tough is it to review the manuals or write down these settings when fishing around in the bios? How tough is it for somebody at Anandtech to notice these things? It makes the Anandtech staff look like a bunch of dopes for linking to a crappy review and it makes me think that the people at amdmb look like a bunch of fools. I would think that they would review what is going to be posted on the web before actually doing so.
The thing is that we rely HEAVILY on these reviews to make our next purchase decision and instead I've wasted a week to sort out the truth before making my purchase. What good are these reviews if we can't believe them? How pissed would I have been if I bought the Iwill and found that the dumbass was wrong and because of it I had to eat the cost of the Mobo.
I'll get off the soapbox for a little bit to ask for some help now. I like the reviews of the Iwill board but I don't want to buy a board that only has core voltages down to 1.5V. I think the future AMD processors will require less voltage and this is only a valid point if they DON'T change the pin configuration.
Anyway, my question is... Is the Vcore range something that can be changed via a BIOS update or is it some hardware change on the board? I'm wondering if Iwill could release a Bios change in the future to drop the Vcore voltage to 1.1 like Abit's Kt7a or is this a physical problem. Anyone know how the bios changes the voltage settings?

i dont think its really fair to blame this on AT. How many reviews do they link to on a daily basis? Do you expect someone to read every review and check for inaccuracies? I dont think so. AT does this as a courtesy for us, so we dont have to visit 50 million sites to find reviews. If you want ot blame someone blame the reviewers, not AT.

If you refer a friend to a place and your friend gets screwed over...Do you feel responsible or not? I'm the type to feel responsible for my friend getting screwed. I think that AT should feel responsible as we visit Anand's site for reliable AND accurate information. What good is a link to crappy sites? Unfortunately, it DOES reflect on Anand's judgements. I see your point but I just don't agree with it. If you want to build a credible site then linking to poor sites is only going to damage what you are trying to build.

You think thats bad? Gotapex thought the voltage riser on the A7V133 was the Promise ATA100 controller.

@#^%(*@^$(!!!!!! Dulanic is right. Gotapex royally screwed up!

But then agian, AT has messed up in reviews as well. Look at the heatsink reviews. Look at the Video Card pricelist that does not differentiate between the Radeon LE 32MB DDR (<$100) and the Radeon 32MB DDR (~$120).

Everyone makes mistakes.
