It was around 8pm when 50% of cars on the road have their headlights on. I was on 495 cruising at around 70mph when I heard this very deep *thunk*. The hit vibrated throughout my car as I also felt it physically. Then almost simuntaneously I saw a quick flash of a bird's face on the windshield. All this happened within a split second. From memory I recogized that it was a bird because of the beak I had caught in that quick nanosecond.
I became furious and cussed to myself because I thought I had a dent. That would be one sh|tty ass luck that would cause unneccesary expenses.
I drove home and checked what happened on the front. And oh my god.... the bird had hit my front bumper, little left to the license plate. There was a huge splash of blood, one of them streaking all the way up to the hood. It was also mixed with feathers stuck everywhere, the long ones and small and cushy inner feathers...
*shudder* it must've been one dumbass bird... I didn't know they were that suspectible to darkness...
