I did alot of stupid crap when i was 11-12(1995-6) on a pc... I remember thinking you only needed a exe for a game so me being the bright person that i was deleted everything but the exe for Duke Nukem 1 & 2 and Commander Keen. To my surprise.. the game didnt work!! ;-) ROTFLMAO.

Trial and Error. Trial and Error was how i learned my way around a pc 😛

Convince the Mom , Jr. needs his own 'puter to crap on. Then if he screws it up, he can pay to have it fixed.

big deal, you are getting paid for it. instead of telling the kid what NOT to do, tell him what he should do, and try to expalin to him why what he did isnt a good thing

Good idea. Charge them double for computer instruction, then spend half a day showing them that their kid is an idiot and that they are idiots for letting him fsck up the pc. But do it in a nice way...you want to get that check at the end.

Personally, I love situations like this..unreal how much time you get to book because people are dumb.

I go out there and her 13yr old son has loaded up so much P2P crap programs I can barely login (P4 1.7, 512MB ram) somehow he has uninstalled her antivirus and has like 20-30 spyware/music sharing programs on there.

That's the exact problem that had me decide to quit building for other people. They can't draw the connection between all the sh!t software they pile onto the system and the instability and insane erratic Windows issues they create.
