Its been 7 years since I've had to look for a video card. now that I'm buying one again, need some updated info.

1. I have seen cards with HDMI ports. Why is it on the card? To connect to your HD TV or audio receiver?

2. For the above, is there an adapter for HDMI to DVI (and vice versa) port in case I want to use two monitors connected to the card with DVI connections?

3. Last time I looked the most important requirement was to have a 256 Bit bus for memory. But I no longer do any gaming and I am all about photoshop. Does having a 'wide' memory bus help me at all in Photoshop?

4. What are stream processors and why should I care if I have them?

5. My budget is $80 or less.

1. Connect to HDTV. Or if you have high end receiver with video passthrough by all means go there instead.

2. DVI -> HDMI yes, I have not seen HDMI -> DVI though

3. Memory interface is critical for high resolution gaming, not so much for Photoshop.

4. Stream processors are the little beasties that actually do the processing in the core. Short story - the more the better. Note that ATi and nVidia have different ways for counting them, basically five ATi SPs are equal to one nVidia SP. But again, this is more crucial for gaming than Photoshop.
