Does it have a proprietary connection on the controller?
I read an article about all the latest PC headsets, now I am jealous.

actually it's just a standard jack (the cell phone one). You lose volume and mute (unless included on the other headset), but I've seen the little plastic piece that plugs into the controller sold with a headset jack instead of a wire.
