Dumb Question?

I had the PVR250 tuner\capture card installed several months ago with just the coax and I thought for sure I was able to receive and record in stereo. I dusted it of and reinstalled the card and now can't get stereo. The options for stereo are no longer available. The monitor that I use next to the PC plays the channel in stereo but the card won't do it.

I've got the latest drivers, XP1800, 512DDR etc. Does anyone know if I have to have to use the audio line in to get stereo? I don't have the plug but I can get one if that's the problem. I was almost positive I got stereo through the coax before.

according to Hauppauge you should be able to hear stereo atleast.

I would suggest removing the drivers and then removing the card. Then let windows boot up without it. Then install it once more and then install the drivers that came with it to see if it works correctly, then update to newer drivers.
