dumb question - which drivers for 6800 GT

spidey07

No Lifer
really. I've got a pny 6800 GT and I'd like to overclock it and get the most performance out of it.

should I use nVidia drivers or the ones that came on the disk?

Use the latest off Nvidias site if you ask me.. Usually the ones on the CD are out of date by the time you get them - sometimes very out of date.. =)

thanks bunches. if you guys need any net advice head over to networking forum.

now I just need to find out how to clock it.

Do the 61.77 drivers from nvidia's website (with coolbits2 on) have the trilinear optimizations option in the control panel? I was curious how much it affected the IQ and the speed but can't seem to find such a setting anywhere.

you could always play russian rulet with the betas over a guru3d, but i would highly reccomend the lastest from nvidia.com
