Dumb Question time!

I have stumbled across a few still in the shrinkwrap Imation DDS-90 2GB backup tapes. What drives will these fit? Are these items completely obsolete technology or do some folks still use tape backups? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

DDS-1/90 tapes are compatible with DDS-1, DDS-2 and DDS-3 DAT tape drives.


This extended length cartridge can be used on any DDS or DATA/ DAT drive which allows for extended length (4mm by 295 Ft.) capacity. Advanced metal particle formulation for high durability.
