I would like to know if I am buying a processor and it is a P3 600E on the box, but it is slot 1, then is it a copermine? The second question is that would I have to use the heatsink for the SECC2? Or if not then which kind.

Yes, any P3 labeled E or EB is a Coppermine, and the P3's above 600 (600+) are all Coppermines. There are, however, Coppermines below 600MHz. Both Slot 1 and FC-PGA can be Coppermines.

Since you are buying retail (in a box), there should be a heatsink that fits perfectly on your processor, because it's bundled with it.

If you could rewrite your post for better grammar, it would be appreciated because it's kind of hard to make sense of your post... 😱.
