can you still get a lease through GM, or have they pretty much shut that down like Chrysler?

Edit: the vehicle would be a GMC Acadia
 
to an extent, yes they are. It depends what vehicle you are looking at. However, not every lease is through GMAC... local banks and larger banks may be leasing still. With rebates combined, it MIGHT be a low lease payment, but i dont know any more.
 
Yes you can and they have several lenders they can put you with. Which lender varies according to what vehicle you're interested in. They've done their homework and have found some very good lease rates. In most cases the payment will be lower than what you would have paid with GMAC.

GMAC getting out of / tightening up their leasing is a good thing for consumers. I've hated GMAC for the longest time and am thrilled to not have to do business with them.
