Dumb question...can I use VIVO from a GF4 to watch TV on my PC?

I'm going to be buying a 128MB Gainward GF4 Ti4200 sometime within the next month, and am still debating whether or not it is worth the extra money to get VIVO functionality. I'll probably get VIVO so I can use it if I ever need it, but I'm curious what I could ever actually use it for. Can I use the VIVO features of the card to watch TV on my machine? If so, will I need special software for that, or will the software that comes with the card be able to do that? Just trying to get everything figured out before I make a $200 purchase. Thanks.

You need a tuner or a device with a tuner to get TV signals into the card. So a VCR would work, just connect the S-video or Composite out from the VCR to the input on the card. I'm not sure if it allows you watch TV in real time though, some people say that they need to time shift TV to watch it. Time shifting basically records the signal and then let's you watch it with small lag (maybe a couple of seconds), But you need a fast computer and software to do time shifting (if that is the only way). I think MSI bundles a bunch of software that can do time shifting.
