Dumb question about two cards, one computer

I just bought a Hercules Prophet II MX (AGP) to replace my 3Dfx Diamond Monster Banshee PCI. However, I'd like to be able to retain the Banshee card for the 3Dfx support (that Unreal engine just hates Direct3D). Short of powering down, reconnecting my monitor and powering back up, is there any way to switch between the two cards "on the fly?"

I seem to recall back in the days when all cards were PCI that you could have two cards in the system with some sort of pass-through, so that either card could access the monitor at any given time.

Thanks y'all!!

I'm not sure, but my Voodoo2 has a passthru cable. I have a GeForce2 and a Voodoo2. You could always sell the banshee and pick up a Voodoo2 for usually around $30-$50 used. Good Luck.

Thanks Chuffmaster, good suggestion.

Does anyone know if you can do the pass-through thing across buses (PCI and AGP)?
