This is a pretty dumb question. Is there anything nefarious someone could do with an ESN/MEID of a phone I'm selling? I know it's pretty silly but I'd rather look silly and be cautious now the find out the hard way.
That number is how phones are tied to your account. If you have not ensured that that MEID has been removed from your account, then someone can use the MEID to charge any use to your account. Someone can also clone the MEID to a different phone.
As long as you ensure that the ESN/MEID is removed from your account, then there is no issue with it being in the hands of someone else.
