dumb question about cooling fans

just bought a 92 X 92 mm cooling fan to put in my two-drive showstopper

the fan has two 4-pin powertails, you can see a (blurry) picture of it here

one powertail has all 4 wires going to it, the other just has the red & black wires...just wondering why two power tails ??

i'm at work and haven't had a chance to play with it...just dont' want to do something stupid & short-out the replay somehow

It's a pass-thru plug. You just plug one end into a PSU plug and the other end into either a hard drive or a CD-ROM or whatever. It's basically there so you don't end up wasting a 4 pin header on a fan.
