Dumb purchases on eBay

So I saw a good deal on RAM on eBay and bid on it, thinking I will likely lose. Well, turns out I won. Just saw that this RAM is different from my existing RAM so will not work too well. Guess I can save it for later use, if and when.

At work, the websites that I have access to are eBay and financial sites so I surf eBay for hours sometimes 🙁 Shameful and wasteful

lemme guess... DDR3 very very cheap that doesn't work with a majority of consumer processors because it's ECC+Registered?
