Dumb Newbe can't retrieve password

I started cracking at the end of last month and can't find a password that I need to join up. I think the client is installed right.

Under step 3 in the instructions:: 3) Run the client to complete at least one "work packet". Then, if the client window is not visible, left double-click on the cow's head icon in your taskbar, and perform your first "update" (under the Network dropdown).
I don't have a Network dropdown. When I search for my name at
"Participant Stats" it doesn't find it. Below is a copy of what I see when I double click the cow icon.

1. Did you intend to run OGR or RC5?
2. Double click the cow icon, then right click for the cleint menu to appear, then choose the 'Flush Work' option. Flush work option will send any completed WUs to D.Net. Then wait till the next 00:00 UTC to occur. The daily update at DNet takes a few hours to complete, so you really need to wait a few hours past 00:00 UTC.

I'm sending this post before I have finished my first cup of coffee.

I hope this info helps.

Most of all - Welcome to Team Anandtech - If you ever need assistance just post again.

PHarmer-1: "I started cracking"

I don't know too many things about OGR but I know that it is not "cracking". RC5 is also "checking" but I suppose that "cracking" can also be used. If you want to do RC5 and not OGR just ask here for help or read Paulson's FAQ:

Welcome to the team!!!

Cracking usually refers to RC5. This is why I asked if he intended to run RC5 or OGR. Since he is new he may have used the word cracking even though his preference is to only work on the OGR project.

Paulson: If he wants to only participate in OGR he does not need to change anything. :)

Well guys thanks for all of your help. I did intend to install RC5. I think that I have set it up right now. I will check back tomorrow to see if it is working right.

Oh yea I DID join up with Team AnandTech. After I see that this computer is configured right I'll need your help to get my other computer on my home LAN setup.

THANKS
