Dumb iPhoto question

Snapped a few hundred photos while I was on a weekend trip, imported to iPhoto easily. From there, I synced iPhoto to my FB account, created a new shared album and uploaded all the photos. It uploads fine, and works very very well to upload pictures en mass, but it doesn't advertise them onto my news feed. Seems to be that the only way for people to see those pictures actually has to click on my profile or albums to see them.

Is this normal? Any way to correct?

You have to go to the new album on FB and "publish" it.

Unfortunately, I forget how to do this.
