Dumb IE7 question

Does anyone know how to make the Favorites Center tab in IE7 bigger (wider, mainly)? By default it is not wide enough to accomodate some of my Favroties with long names, but there doesn't seem to be a way to resize it. If I "pin" it to the left with the arrow button, then I can resize it, but I don't want to pin it there. I have a feeling I'm probably missing something stupid. Anyone know?
