So I got my X2 3800+ and it's all up and running fine. Now how do I know for sure that both cores are functioning as they should? My device manager clearly shows that it is a dual core proc with two identically named processors in the processors tab however in the taskmanager, I don't see two graphs for the two cores and I don't have the option to change from one graph for all cpus to one graph per cpu, it only shows the one graph per cpu option. Is this fine? Is there some sure fire way to know that both cores are recognized and functioning properly?
I flashed my bios to the latest version before I started putting the system together so I know that is fine but I was thinking should I update the NForce drivers? I just used the ones that came with the motherboard. If so, should I get them from my mobo manufacturer's site or NVidia?
Sorry for being a noob, but it's my first dual core!
Thanks guys.
