Dumb Cellphone Ringtones

So I'm sitting in a computer lab which means I get to hear lots of dumb ringtones, and have come to this conclusion:

Guys, you should not have that dumb song from Sex and the City as your ringtone! You look stupid. Everyone hates you.

I still hate ringtones, but I do have the hook from "Rock Lobster" from Family Guy on my SmartPhone which I hardly use...whenever I get an email:
dadadada dadadada...ROCK LOBSTER! :music:

I wouldn't even recognize the music from sex and the city if I heard it as a ringtone...

I use video game music as my ringtones. Zelda for my wife, Super Mario Bros for my parents, etc, etc.

It's not that I hate ringtones all that much. It's just retarded which ones people sometimes choose. Use a little discretion. Don't pick the most annoying/loud POS you can find.

You need to be able to at least recognize the music. How else will you know to immediately turn the channel without even needing to be directly watching the screen?

i got the knight rider theme for free... mainly because my phone blinks like kitt. heh... i usually have it on vibrate, altho it switches itself in my pocket sometimes, very annoying.

Haha, my roommate had that for a while till my gf pointed out to him that it was sex in the city. He said "Whatever, I don't care".

The ringtone was changed the next day :laugh:
