Dumb ATI AIW 9700 question

I'm a noob to any TV/Video capture cards, and I've been considering an AIW 9700 Pro lately. My question is, does this card have both TV/Video-In AND TV/Video Out functionality? Are the component connectors for this card bidirectional? Are there separate connectors for In/Out functions? I would like to be able to record TV shows using the "tivo" abilities it has, but have the option of playing them back on my PC or TV.

BTW, I did a quick search, and could not find an answer to this. If this has already been answered in another thread, then if you could just post that link for me, that would be great...(Office Space). ;)

Thanks to all for the help!

Are you a big gamer??? If not you may wish to look at the AIW radeon 8500 128mb card as it has all those features but the less gaming power and the much more relaxed price...I think near half as much...Also there is the 8500DV version which only comes with 64mb ddr but it does have all the connections plu 2 firewire ports for devices like dig camcorders. The tuner is digital in the 8500 and many debate over its quality compared to the analog tuners of the 128mb version and the 9700pros...

Thanks!

Yes, I'm a gamer, though not as much as I used to be. I have an original Radeon that I bought when they first came out. How long ago was that? 2 yrs? I don't get the chance to upgrade very often, so when the opportunities come, I take them. I'm tempted by what you say about the 8500. I've been wanting to get a RAID setup on my Linux box (it holds all my digital video & MP3's). If I get the 8500, I could swing a Promise SX4000 (sweetness) on the same budget.

Hmmm.....decisions...
