dull colors

i just got my accusync 95F 19' flastscreen from dell and the colors seem very drab and dull. I tried tweaking all the settings on the monitor to no avail. I am running A VisionTek GeForce 3 Ti200 Xstacy card. I got the latest drivers for the vid card and monitor (for win2k). Im running resolution at 1280x1024 85hz refresh and 32bit true color. I know these monitor issues can be very subjective, but id like some opinions/suggestions on what i could possibly do. The quality is poorer then my 15' sony trinitron (E500???) and the colors lack vivacity or that vibrant quality that id expect from a 290$ monitor.

Have you adjusted the Digital Vibrance controls in your Geforce 3 panel?

That was what I was gonna suggest, it looks a whole lot better.

i know what you're saying, but i remember when a good monitor acutally cost quite a bit of money 😉
