i read your post in the other thread about wanting numlock on when you're not logged in since you have numbers in your password. i can help you
fire up your favorite registry editor and go to
HKEY_USERS/.DEFAULT/Control Panel/Keyboard/InitialKeyboardIndicators
change it from 0 to 2 and like magic, numlock is on by default
(at least, it should work, heh)
BTW this is where you can change the desktop background, pattern, and screen saver (these things are in the "Desktop" key, rather than keyboard) that shows when no one is logged in. (that is why i surmise that you can also turn on numlock here)
