Duke University students

im going to duke this fall and im just wondering if anyone goes there. would be cool to know some people before going in.

well, im not going to duke. but i want to congradulate you for getting there! its excellent (of course). my cousin got admittance to there too, along with upenn, columbia etc. but he ended up going to cornell. i wish i can go to duke someday.

Probably. I'm drunk, 2/3 of the people that went there from my high school I hate (including my ex), and I am fighting with my current girl so sorry to thread crap. 😱

Actually, he's not that inaccurate, drunk or not. Lots of people from up north go to Duke, and it is starting to get a reputation like some Ivy league schools......hard to get in, but a breeze to pass classes once you do.
As far as the clothes and stuff, well, people who go there ain't poor.

I can't stand ACC b'ball (way overrated...GO 'CUSE!) but Dukes got some die hard fans. I'd love to go see a game there.

A good friend of mine is going there - she's kinda bummed cause she has trouble meeting people. She's a freshman this year.
