Duke Nukem forever...

Duke Nukem sucks =) Delayed and forever being shadowed by better looking games. By the time its actually out, we'll have UT2007 on our hands and widely available PS3 with Online features that pwn Xbox live. Yes, im being optimistic.
 
So what engine is it using now? Didnt it start out Quake II engine, Quake III, now is it using the D3 engine?
 
Find that, if they have been in developement for over 10 years....unreal3 engine would be nice but im thinking they are using the quake3 engine lol
 
I think the problem is the developers of Duke Nukem Forever are waiting until BitBoys finishes their graphics card

This year would be the 10th year that its in development, that is if 3drealms started working on it as soon as they were done with Duke3d. It originally began as a Quake (1) engine title, and then around 1999 they switched to Unreal engine. AFAIK, its still using the original Unreal engine.
 
They re did the whole engine. Its there own engine. I dont really care about gfx, but rather gameplay.. i mean who cannot forget the shrink gun or the strip bar... 😀

I assume you meant "years" but it turned quite funny actually.. because tears is what the fans will drop when they realize its nothing but a myth 😛

hahha shouldn't they have started with an idea of how a game should be fun ? and then focused on how the guns look?
 
Duke Nukem meh, what about Team Fortress 2?
I remember seeing an article in PC Games years ago and still nothing...Sure web sites are around but damn it has been longer than DNF, I think DNF stands for Did Not Finish, not Duke Nukem Forever. ;p
