Is it still being developed? Will it ever come out?
I remember looking forward to this game back in 1999.

Its been through 3 engine changes, they also started from scratch each time the switched engines. They've been funding the game 100% on their own, and it is in development. It will be released when its released. And people shouldnt compare this to Dikatana. Ion Storm didnt fund the game out of thier own pocket and DNF also wont need to sell over 5million copies to break even. 3D Realms is a small company, the DNF development team isnt all that large.

It will if they take much longer. I don't know exactly how long it's been in development but people act like it was started some time before Bob Dole was born so I'd imagine they've spent a bit of money on it.

I'm glad it didn't come out back in 99' cause it would of looked like sh!t. If you have Duke Nukem: Manhatten Project, you can see a rather long trailer and the game looks like sh!t compared to today's engine.
