2K Games PAX announcement at 10AM PT / 1PM ET:

http://www.ustream.tv/2kgameslive

Looks like the rumors are true that Gearbox Software (Borderlands) took over development of DNF. Randy Pitchford says 2011 PC / 360 / PS3. Playable demo at PAX.

More pics from the PAX booth.

They were showing people at PAX playing the hands-on demo earlier on the live stream, maybe they'll show more again soon. There should be a trailer out on the various blogs/sites any hour now.

From what I could see on the stream the game looks the same as it did in the leaked videos (from around the time it was finally canceled) so I wonder what Gearbox did with it for the past year they worked on it.

I've never been excited for this game so I'm not sure why I'm following this so closely--I guess maybe because it's a part of gaming history? Originally announced in 1997!

LOL! I'll only believe this when I can touch a retail copy in a store or order it on steam....

This is all a trick. Duke Nukem Forever was never real. Just a joke on 3D Realms part. LOL! They are just getting 2K in on the joke....

Sure 2011. I bet last minute the release date will change....

Duke Nukem Forever is an urban myth....
