The last i heard they where trying to update. Changing the source from DX8 to 9 or CG or something. I unno I am most likely wrong but i know it had something to do with that.

no company has that much money to sink into a title for how many years without getting anything. When will they stop updating the game? How many engines are they going to go through before they finally say "ok, that's enough, here's the end result" It's just a continuous cycle of update after update.

They could well be updating it to be a DX9 game, and then release it when DX9 hardware is standard on all new PC's and very common (ie: just before DX11 comes out)

Maybe they are planning on changing to the HL2 engine?

I gave up on that game a long time ago. I had minor hopes when they showed the video of DNF, 1 or was it 2 years ago?
