here's my problem...

I wanted to get rid of a game from my comp cause it was taking up too much space so instead of unistalling it I trashed all the related files...now I want to reinstall that same game and the installation kills because the program registries are still in the computer as a result of the improper unistall the first time. I don't know what to do I was thinking maybe I could get beyond it by destroying the file that was installed into the comp will my first setup was taking place but I don't know where that file may be....help!

Maybe I am silly but can't seemed to understand your question. What are you suggesting to get beyond the installation?

But you can certainly try using Norton Systemworks to fix the registry related problem but I guess you don't have that.

Alternatively you can try some shareware registry repairing program that are floating around. I personally use "Reg Clean" from Microsoft (it's free). Also "Easy Cleaner".

Hope someone with better language skills can understand your question tho ^^

If you are comfortable editing the registry, why don't you try doing a search and deleting every reference of this program from the registry? You can also try RegMaid, RegMaid

Make sure you reboot after any changes made.
