Yup. I can't imagine having that many kids (I have 3 and it's a LOT of work) but more power to them if they're raising healthy kids and it gives them joy.
 
These are the most fucked up people on the planet IMO. My wife watches them and I have to leave the room. Her vagina must look like a cross between a piece of chopped liver and a pea coat sleeve.

Are they all vaginal deliveries though? With that many kids, you'd think that she would have had a few C-sections in there at some point.

Which brings me to another point... would her C-section scar look like something out of a horror movie being cut and sewed back up that many times?

I bet she had them all naturally, they seem the type. I think if you have to many c sections your chance at uterine rupture are very high.

Dont they say God helps those who help themselves? Maybe they could have given more to each child if they had less?

I'm not suggesting these children are being abused or not brought up right. I'm just saying that the Duggars wont be able to afford to give each child what he/she deserves in terms of access to education. Imagine tertiary education for 20 children!
 
I don't think they are really that fucked up at all. They are holy rollers but they do support themselves and the kids seem to be well behaved. I'd take that family environment over any ghetto gang banging punk dope head crap parenting any day.

With that being said I think this is a bad idea on their part. That last baby was pretty brutal and to save the mothers life they had to deliver her 3 months early that should have been a wake up call. If the mother does end dead from one of these births Jim Bob will say it was gods will.

I would never have that many kids (2 was enough for me) but if the Duggars are the most effed up people on the planet IYO as you describe them ... then we are totally doomed as a species. Yes, they have a LOT of kids but they take care of them, they are (relatively) self-sufficient ... and their kids are NOT menaces to society.

Just because you don't like what you see try practicing a little tolerance. If this was octomom having more kids I could understand.

this is exactly how i feel. They are better then most. the father supports all the children. hell have you seen pics of the house? its huge!

BUT i agree its time to stop popping them out. the mother is going to die from it.

They went over this in one of the first episodes. They own some land that they rent for radio towers. That seems to be one of their biggest money makers. They buy everything from goodwill and save everything and do hand me downs. The oldest son owns a car dealership and the second oldest son is a tow truck driver. They also seem to buy and sell stuff like big machinery. The oldest son does not seem to be a very smart about the dealership because he said when you buy a car from him they are guarantee for life, good luck with that fool. The second oldest son seem to be a real work horse he always fixing up something and cutting down trees keeping the place nice. They showed him towing all kinds of cars so he doing good.

No. I am not tolerant of the stupid people and their retarded reality TV Show.

They are sick people. They are having children for money. They look OK on TV but they are exploiting the children to make MONEY. IMO.

The thing is they don't raise the damn kids! Once the baby is old enough they pawn it off on the older children to take care of while Mom and Dad get ready to produce the next one.

Also, the last baby wasn't exactly healthy. It was barely over a pound at birth, and damn near died. The mother also had pre-eclampsia during the pregnancy, which makes her much more likely to have it again.

The had 17, over a period of 20+ years, before they made a cent off the kids.

I doubt it was for money, and if it was, they had some insane foresight (some would even say Godly) to predict the reality TV craze over 20 years ago.
