I just got Dues Ex and after installing it and trying it out, I can't get Direct3d to work with it! What gives? When i select direct3d as my rendering device, and I start the game its still in software mode! I tried installing DirectX 8 and I also tried getting the new drivers for my video card (which it says should work with the game) Its a RIVA TNT 1. It works in openGL mode but it loads slower then molasses, it says my card is compatible with the game and direct 3d but it won't work. anyone have this problem too?

D3D patch is on the web site, however with a TNT I don't even expect that to help you. You need a new video card, 16M Recommended, TNT2U or V3 or higher.

A TNT-1 will work, but it is very choppy. I played all way through at 800x600 with 32-bit colors.
