Please can you suggest some duel DVI card solutions for a computer I am building. It is designed mainly for media/web development and CAD. I would however also like to use it for gaming though. I am unwilling to go for a pharelia (matrox) due the cost/performance ratio! and lack of availability in the retail version.

The matrox Millenium G550 duel DVI looked interesting, but the problem is that it is not designed for games (is this correct?).

Any suggestions? Many thanks for any input!:)

i suppose you mean Dual and not Duel, as the second would imply the two DVIs are battling each other. Gainward makes a Ti 4600 that has Dual DVIs and it isn't too expensive [~$330 at newegg]

Am I right in thinking that the Gainward has a max resolution of 1024 X 768 for dual monitor support compaired to Pharelia's 1280 x 1024 dual monitor support?

It is so difficult finding this data on the Gainward card.

I guess I really need a dual monitor card that supports up to 1280 x 1024 per monitor.

Any ideas?

I may have been mis-reading it actually - each monitor supports 2048x1536 for the 750XP I think...

The Gainward will support dual DVI at 1280x1024. Resolutions higher than 1600x1200 are analog only. I'm running mine with one DVI output at 1600x1200 and the other DVI output at 1280x1024. I'm pretty sure it will support dual DVI at 1600x1200 but I haven't tested that.
