duel boot vista 64 and xp 32 bit

Ok Say i have 2 drives. Can I install vista on one and xp on the other. When the pc starts will it still ask which operating system I wish to load. I know when you partition a drive and install an operating system on each partition it will ask that question but i dont know if it will when its on 2 different drive disk
