Would like to explain my numbers. I converted my machines back to Seti a little over a week ago. I started back with 3.0.3 and at the outset was a little discouraged with the lower production. So I decided to save my work till after yesterdays weekly production stats came out. Idea was, the dump this wknd. along with production for the coming week would look good in the next weekly stats run. It's a hell of bad deal, to think that all the worry about a drive failing or a lightning strike or whatever wiping out a bunch of w/u's just so I could show decent stats ONE time. Now I worry that this hard earned production will look suspicious. :disgust:

That silly looking icon up there is supposed to show disgust? It does not look at all as disgusted as I feel.

Phiton, if you start doing over 200 WU's a day on a consistent basis, maybe people will have doubt. 😉 I see where you're coming from, but I doubt anyone will jump on you about it.

Hey, I see there's a 3.04 client on the SETI page, down a ways. Know anything about that one?

edit: oops, looks like it's only for a specific platform, never mind. It says

NEW (2001-01-19) The version 3.04 clients for the platforms mips[34]-sgi-irix6.2 are merely the 3.03 versions of these clients, but with less dependence upon the runtime environment. Therefore these version 3.04 clients will function on older platforms without requiring upgrades of the runtime libraries
