So, our management always pushes this "Must be 2 people on shift" stuff. Gotta have 2 guys on the floor. ok, fair nuff.

Guess whos on the schedule for tonight?
Me. Yep, just me. No one else. Great. Let everyone else have the holidays off and screw the guy at the bottom of the totem pole.

There is truth to the saying sh!t rolls downhill. And boy I'm waist deep in it.

I need a new job. In a bad way. :frown:

I'm also all alone on the floor in this big scary office building. Someone hold me.... 😱 🙁
 
I did that for three years in college. Staffed a support desk for hospitals and clinics across the U.S. Worked Saturday nights all by myself. 7PM-7AM. Only person on the entire floor of a building that probably had close to 500 offices and cubicles per floor.

In a way it was nice in that I had complete freedom. In a way it really sucked because it got really boring.

Well, I watched Courage Under Fire, fixed a broke connection, and now I'm listening to online radio.
Probably go have a smoke soon. Lock the phone, grab the pager and head downstairs. Hope the pager doesnt go off.
