The thief was obviously intending to steal the van not the arm. The thief most likely didn't even know the arm was in the van.

The guy was on the Jim Rome radio show this morning. His attitude and personality is amazing. He seemed like a great guy. I'm guessing that just from the one radio show, he'll come close to getting what he needs for a new arm.

I heard it today too. He sounded like a great guy. I am sure he will either get the arm back or get the $$ to build a new one.
