musta been in real pain to come to that decision. probably a logical choice nonetheless.

Pain will drive people to extremes. sad that even after cutting it off he still has pain. though doing it the way he did probably didn't make a clean slice.

Sounds like the nerve damage wasn't in his hand, and the doctors were right in not amputating...

But on the other hand, how was he supposed to know?

Gotta hand it to him, it was a good attempt but it didn't quite cut it. It's gonna cost him an arm and a leg to get rid of the pain for good.

That guy is my age. He looks about 15 years older than me.

So, apparently he cut it off because the government regulated healthcare system over there didn't want to do it. niiiiiiiiiiccccceeee....

And yet it still hurts. Had the doctors did it and it still hurt, he would have probably sued.

The pain was in his arm. The doctors wouldn't amputate since he had a fully functional hand. He got rid of the hand so that they won't have any reason to not amputate his arm now.
