I worked for an outsource company doin' technical support for Dell. They like train you for 4 weeks or whatever, quite possibly the worst job i ever had. I ended up quitting 2 months later. Made me realize how much you can hate a job. I hope your jobs better than how mine turned out.

Well what made you hate it so much??

BTW I have been working on gettting some certs( i have 3 of my the 7 mcse and a CCNA) not that they mean much, but I have to start some where. They opened the door and Im going to run through it.:D

Im very happy they gave me the job.:D

Hopefully all the paint fumes have mellowed you out because support isn't for those who are quick to anger. ;) Best of luck with the new job! :)

My 1 piece of advice for you:

The mute switch is your best friend.

Other random thoughts:

Watch what you eat. I put on 10 lbs a year when I went from a very active job to sitting on my ass all day. Make yourself a rule not to eat at your desk (eliminates snacking & eating out of boredom).

Very good advice ViperGTS.

Yeah, the mute button can be your best friend, but also can be your worst enemy. Make sure which position it is in before going on your little *rampage* ;) Or else uh oh :Q

Working 8/10hrs shifts, sitting on your arse all day can do a lot of harm to your health. Yeah, watch what you drink/eat at the desk, you can put on the weights pretty darn easily without any exercise.
