Dude, I'm Getting A Dell!!!

I had a friend of mine drop off a couple old Dell laptops today.

I lol'd at the Latitude C610 with its P3 1.2 mobile cpu.

The other is a Latitude CPi PPL. It appears to be a p2-300.

C610 is working quite well considering its specs.

C610:
1.2 ghz cpu
512 mb SDR
30 gb hdd
win xp pro.

I decided to install a wireless nic since it was an option. I just happened to have a spare PCI wireless N adapter from TPlink. I hooked it up and it works like a charm.

The machine is slightly sluggish but good enough for surfing and stuff.

I even got a docking station with them.

Play around for a while then drop off at goodwill, dont store junk

I have a Dell C400, quite a similar spec (seemingly to the C610), though I haven't looked into an internal wireless adapter before (I've always had an external spare). A laptop that weighs in at 1.18kg, has a reasonable size screen, IMO is a pretty good deal. A customer gave me theirs a couple of years ago so now I have a spare
